“The Innkeepers” is earning some praise for its lack of gore, but it’s the lack of content that left me struggling to stay awake. Even the music sounds like it’s been pulled from an after school TV movie soundtrack. A movie that might’ve been about bff’s planning a party, not about haunted hotels.

“The Innkeepers” is a thriller about the haunted Yankee Pedlar Inn which is about to close its doors. A sickly young woman is the center character and one of two workers who have agreed to run the place. A psychic just happens to be in town for a convention and stays at the inn. A low budget effort with some jolting scenes.
