The comic hero genre isn’t my thing. I’ve enjoyed the Iron Man series for its detached, winking-at-the-camera take on things. And I enjoyed the Spider-Man reboot for its sense of fun.
Although ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ is waaaay too long at 2 and a quarter hours–there are some amazing set pieces and, espcially for Washington DC area residents, some spectacular uses of the Nation’s Capital that are true to scale and utterly believable.
